Day one will take place at Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ. Registration is located in the North Lobby at the Euston Road entrance.
The evening reception, which has limited spaces and requires registration, will take place at the Wellcome Trust, 215 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE.
Day two will take place at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Keppel Street, Bloomsbury, London WC1E 7HT. Registration is located in the Manson Foyer, which you will be signposted to upon arrival at the Keppel Street reception.
For information on accessibility at Friends House for day 1, please visit their website. Some parallel sessions are in rooms on the First and Second Floors. There is a lift for step-free access to these rooms.
On day 2 which will take place at LSHTM, Sessions are taking place in rooms on the Lower Ground, First and Second Floors. There is a lift for step-free access to these rooms.
Delegates with mobility difficulties are advised to make themselves known to event staff at the information desk, so they can be directed to the appropriate lift and evacuated in case the need arises.
Guide dogs: Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at all venues.
Signage: There is clear signage throughout all venues. Delegates who require any assistance should speak to event staff at the information desk or around the venues.
Sound enhancement system: All plenary and parallel session rooms have built-in hearing loops, except the LSHTM library. Portable hearing loops are available for the library, please speak to event staff at the information desk in advance of the parallel session.
There are toilets with accessible WCs on every floor at Friends House. Toilets at LSHTM are on the Ground and Lower Ground Floors, with accessible WCs on the Ground Floor only.
Registration & Information Desk
On Day 1 the desk will be open 8:00 – 18:00, and Day 2 it will be open 7:30 – 16:00. Event staff will be identifiable from their yellow ‘Event Staff’ lanyards, so if you need any help please ask them.
At registration you will be given a lanyard with your name. Please keep this with you at all times as it will be required to access each venue.
Delegates who indicated they have a dietary requirement should collect their lunch from the Waldo Williams collection point on Day 1 and the Refectory collection point on Day 2, which will be signposted.
Delegates can leave one coat/jacket and a small rucksack, laptop bag or personal handbag per person. Cloakroom space is limited so will be operating on a first come first served basis. There will also be a cloakroom at the Wellcome Trust reception.
Items stored in the cloakroom must be collected each evening. Items left in the cloakroom will be left with lost property at the venue.
A room for mothers to nurse and express milk is available in Ada Salter 1 on the Ground Floor of Friends House and G06a on the Ground Floor at LSHTM. Chairs, tables, power sockets, and a dedicated fridge to store breast milk will be available in these rooms.
To access these rooms, please speak to event staff at the information desk.
A room will be available on Day 1, 8.00 – 16.30 and all-day on Day 2. No phones, laptops or tablets should be used in these areas and no food is allowed. Meetings should not be held in this area.
There is no set dress code for this event.
