Dr. Waruguru Wanjau is a Kenyan medical officer. She has worked as a consultant for Jhpiego on SafeSurgery and as a policy fellow for the G4Alliance.
She has held various talks and workshops for the Royal College of Surgeons Global Surgery Frontiers symposiums. She is a board member of Incision - International Student Surgical Network, and has also worked as a junior doctor at AIC Kijabe hospital and Samburu County referral hospital in Kenya.
She has a BSc (Human Anatomy) and MBChB from the University of Nairobi.
She recently completed her Masters in Public Health - Health Systems and Policy with a focus on global surgery at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
