Dr. Soka Moses is a physician with the Liberia Ministry of Health.
In 2014, Soka worked as a clinician during the unprecedented Ebola virus disease outbreak in West Africa, providing care for Ebola virus disease patients in one of Liberia’s Ebola Treatment Units.
Soka continues to provide care for survivors of the disease and is helping to find solutions to prevent sexual transmission of the Ebola virus, and by so doing mitigate the risk of another outbreak of Ebola virus disease. He also implements scientific research to understand the natural history, seminal persistence, and sexual transmission of the Ebola virus.
In 2017, Soka presented a motivational TedMed Talk in Palm Spring, California. He holds a Master of Science degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
