Dr. Kelly Thompson serves as the Programming and Gender Director for Women in Global Health, a global organization that brings together all genders and backgrounds to achieve gender equality in global health leadership. Dr. Thompson works concurrently as the Gender Advocacy Manager with Restless Development, a youth development agency. Kelly has over 9 years of experience working in global health. She has served as a collaborator and consultant with UNAIDS, ILO, IPPF, The Girl Generation, WHO, and PMNCH on adolescent health, HIV and SRHR, and youth-led accountability. Kelly was an active member of the youth SRHR & HIV movements, completing The PACT Post2015 Fellowship and serving as a Liaison Officer on SRHR and HIV/AIDS with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA). Kelly completed an MBBS at The University of Sydney, M.Litt and M. Phil in History at Trinity College, Dublin and a BA at New York University.
