Helena Nordenstedt

Helena Nordenstedt is a specialist physician in internal medicine, an assistant professor of Global health at Karolinska Institutet, and a fellow with The Swedish Institute for Global Health Transformation (SIGHT). In 2012, she took a sabbatical year to work as a physician in a district hospital in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo for Doctors Without Borders. She has also worked for Doctors Without Borders in Liberia and in Guinea during the Ebola outbreak 2014-15, as an Ebola physician.
