Claire is Director of Global Leadership Programmes at LSHTM and Honorary Consultant at Public Health England. She leads the Executive Programme for Global Health Leadership.
As a medical doctor specialising in the field of Global Public Health, she participated in the Ebola crisis in West Africa, and has worked as a Consultant for the UN High Level Panel on Global Response to Health Crises, and Medecins sans Frontieres.
Claire led an NGO in West Africa before working as a Management Consultant for the third sector, and with WHO Collaborating Centres, with a focus on health system strengthening and crises management. She is an Examiner for the Medical Care of Catastrophes, and is Trustee and Council Member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Claire is committed to supporting colleagues – she is a designated Role Model for Women for the Aurora Leadership Foundation Programme, and an accredited Executive Coach.
