“Women Leaders in Global Health @ Stanford” aims to bring together participants from a wide variety of experiences and perspectives.

Our Goals:

  • A mix of participants from universities, nonprofits, government, industry and other sectors
  • A balance of trainees, emerging and established leaders
  • Priority participation from low- and middle-income countries or underserved settings

To achieve our participant mix and stay within our capacity of 340 seats, we have implemented a short questionnaire as part of the conference registration process, with questions about your interest in attending the conference and what you hope to gain. Once complete, the review committee will confirm your acceptance within 3-4 weeks. Once notified of your acceptance, you will be prompted to provide payment (see pricing below) to secure your seat. Information on applying for financial aid will also be sent upon acceptance.

Registration for both the main conference and pre-conference Leadership Workshop are included in the application process. The Leadership Workshop is strictly limited to 60 participants and we will select through a lottery among qualified applicants. The registration questionnaire asks if you want to be part of this lottery. Selected applicants will be responsible for the leadership workshop fee ($600). Limited financial aid opportunities may also be available and information will be provided upon acceptance.

Those wishing to be considered for financial aid or the pre-conference Leadership Workshop must apply by June 5, 2017. After June 5, attendees will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis based on availability.
